About Me

imageAfter graduating from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine with a degree in Human Ecology I went immediately into massage school at the Acadia School of Massage. I graduated and got my massage license in the state of Maine in May 2010. After working through the busy summer season in Bar Harbor as a massage therapist at the Tree of Life Day Spa I decided to move back to Portland (where I grew up) and open my own massage practice. And so Chrysalis Body Works was born.

Aside from massage I am also a fiber artist, primarily a weaver, but I like to learn pretty much any craft I can get my hands on. My work can be seen at www.beckyrose.etsy.com
